Job Description

The Master Scheduler will provide daily and long-term production planning based on ship dates, production efficiency, manpower, materials and machine availability.

· Maintains and updates weekly files for Production meetings.

· Leads daily production meetings and updates ERP/Schedules based on findings.

· Records and reports on weekly Production metrics, including tracking starts, complete, and incomplete buildings.

· Records Engineering print releases to feed to production files and for Engineering targets.

· Reconciles scheduled hours with processed Change Orders.

· Assists Master Scheduler with reschedules as needed.

  • Tracks buildings storage locations.

A successful candidate should demonstrate the following:

· Experience with office software, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Working knowledge of an ERP System preferred.

· Efficient writing/typing and verbal communication skills.

· Professionalism, confidentiality, and organization.

Education/Experience: BA/BS degree preferred, or equivalency and/or experience in Scheduling /Supply Chain. Exercises sound judgment and decision making.

Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of peers and managers.

Math Ability: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be familiar with Microsoft Office and have experience with an ERP system.

Certificates amp; Licenses: APICS, CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, APSM a plus
