We are looking for a SDET to architect amp; drive implementation of quality product testing via automated and load testing of SaaS, API, Data, and mobile products..
What you'll do:
- Automated Testing:
- Determine strategy for automated testing of frontend and backend web and mobile applications to ensure software reliability and scalability
- Architect amp; write robust, maintainable, and scalable automated tests using tools such as Selenium or similar technologies
- Load Testing
- Work with Product, Engineering, and SRE stakeholders to determine architecture and testing strategy, implementing and executing load testing scripts to assess the performance and scalability of web services, RESTful APIs, and mobile applications
- Continuously optimize and enhance load testing strategies to ensure applications can handle high traffic volumes
- Collaborate and Clarify Requirements:
- Work closely with Product Managers and Project Managers to understand and clarify requirements for accurate and comprehensive testing amp; validation automated testing
- Collaborate on the development of comprehensive test cases and ensure their alignment with quality amp; automation goals
- Regression Testing Automation
- Automate regression testing processes to validate software stability with every release
- Issue Identification and Resolution:
- Identify and assist in resolving issues related to automated tests in all phases of the SDLC such as staging and production environments
- Innovative Technical Solutions:
- Provide innovative technical solutions to enhance existing automated testing frameworks and support the development of new testing capabilities
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or relevant years of experience
- 7+ years of experience in web and mobile testing with a focus on automation
- 5+ years of experience in integration testing and UI automation
- 3+ years of experience in load testing
- Extensive experience testing web services and RESTful APIs
- Proficient in developing automated tests using Selenium or similar tools.
- Experience supporting high-volume traffic web applications
- Experience with source control using Git
- Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools
- Ability to work independently, owning project and quality outcomes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of SQL
- Experience using issue tracking tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira
Nice to haves:
- Experience in Financial Technology, such as payroll, payments, or eCommerce
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
Compensation: $150,000 $160,000. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: location, experience, training, knowledge. and skills.
