SugarCRM is looking for an innovative, strategic, and collaborative Director, Product Management for our Sugar Market product line.
This role embodies player-coach leadership by directly contributing as a product manager as well as leading a team of product managers for the Market focus of Sugar’s Market-Sell-Serve CX suite. It requires engagement with multiple internal stakeholders across Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Services functions. You will also work directly with SugarCRM customers and partners. Leading the marketing automation solution, you will build a strategic roadmap and take product concepts from product discovery through delivery, measurement and iteration.
To succeed in this role, you must be innovative, strategic, tactical, and a strong communicator - both defining vision and driving delivery. You should have a bias towards action.Responsibilities:
  • Solve customer problems and create value within Sugar Market, a vital part of Sugar’s CX Platform
  • Manage and develop a group of product managers into a high-performing team implementing best-in-class product practices
  • Alongside other product leaders, continually improve the product organization’s processes, with particular focus on thorough product discovery, written definition, user flows, and design validation
  • Define, prioritize, and drive delivery of the Sugar Marketproduct vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Drive product definition and support product delivery in partnership with UX and Engineering
  • Collaborate with product teams across the suite to bring connected experiencesand outcomes to life
  • Establish consistent, sustainable customer and stakeholder input points to steer product direction, feature design, and prioritization
  • Develop and monitor product KPIs and metrics driving the business feedback loop
  • Prepare and present product-related updates for different levels in the organization
  • Support internal stakeholders including product marketing and sales with product information, messaging, and positioning
Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in product management
  • Prior experience managing and mentoring a team of product managers required
  • Domain knowledge in marketing automation or marketing technologies required
  • Prior experience in mid-market B2B software strongly preferred
  • Great presentation style, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated product ownership skills, including product definition, backlog management, writing user stories, leading grooming, and facilitating development
  • Strong product management skills, including product discovery, roadmap, prioritization, negotiation, and consensus building
  • Strong attention to detail and meticulous execution
  • Strong storytelling and ability to communicate effectively with individuals, managers, and executives
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience
