What you'll be doing

The Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager is responsible for optimizing the end-to-end customer journey and increasing overall LTV through deep customer understanding, robust experimentation, savvy technical implementation and focused execution.

This includes bringing in and nurturing new prospects through the funnel, increasing customer engagement and cross sell, maximizing retention and driving advocacy. This person will build and manage the lifecycle strategy, campaigns and nurture programs, deliver against revenue goals, and establish an experimentation/optimization strategy that drives better conversion throughout the funnel.

This role reports to the Director of Growth Marketing and collaborates closely with Product Marketing, Brand, Customer Success, Sales and Revenue Operations teams.

Core responsibilities include ownership of the following:
Marketing Strategy:

  • Lead end-to-end marketing strategy across customer journey stages, establishing metrics and criteria for progression.
  • Develop and optimize lifecycle nurture strategy, utilizing data for targeted campaigns and refining content strategies.
  • Organize quarterly webinar programs, managing speaker selection, presentation creation, promotion, and day-of execution.

Channel amp; Campaign Ownership:

  • Create and own integrated, multi-channel campaigns tailored to different customer journey stages with clear success metrics.
  • Execute email marketing campaigns, including promotions, newsletters, and triggered messages, while managing A/B testing for continuous optimization.
  • Work collaboratively with Performance Marketing on paid strategies and experiments to drive customer movement through the funnel.

Collaboration amp; Teamwork:

  • Collaborate with the Content Strategy team to identify content needs throughout the customer journey.
  • Integrate lifecycle nurture with inside sales outreach, maintaining positive relationships with product marketing for accurate messaging.
  • Partner with sales and customer success teams to leverage touchpoints, celebrate advocates, and implement design deliverables effectively.

Data amp; Metrics:

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize ROI, owning KPIs and reporting for lifecycle nurture and conversational marketing.
  • Build a deep understanding of customer behavior, preferences, and needs to inform marketing strategy.
  • Manage marketing database cleanliness and data integrity, implementing a segmentation strategy for targeted messaging and increased engagement.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years B2B demand/lifecycle marketing experience.
  • Self-starter who is passionate about getting things done, moving fast and experimenting
  • Expert in data-driven decision-making for diverse audience segments
  • Direct ownership experience of revenue and pipeline targets.
  • Comfortable building programs and experiments from the ground up and navigating ambiguity to learn what works and what doesn’t for Zappi.
  • Successful track record managing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Innovation-driven approach to lead generation and on-site content.
  • Strong in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and A/B/N testing.
  • Proficient in Google’s analytics and performance tools.
  • Hands-on experience with 6sense and Drift.
  • Skilled in complex, data-driven decision-making.
  • Expertise in conversion-focused copy and creative.
