Job Description

Job Title: Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

SALT Dental Collective provides support services to Pediatric Dental and Orthodontic practices throughout the US. We’re currently looking for a Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management who will lead and drive the revenue cycle function for Salt Dental. This individual will play a dynamic and pivotal role in optimizing our revenue processes and contributing to the overall financial success of the organization. This position reports to the CFO and partners with leadership and team members of SALT.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership for the Revenue Cycle Management department, aligning strategies with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance revenue generation execution and financial performance.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of revenue cycle professionals.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc financial reports, analysis, and insights to executive leadership.
  • Leverage technology to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve overall performance.
  • Implement strategies for effective accounts receivable management and reduction of denials.
  • Oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle, from patient registration to payment processing.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the department.
  • Implement best practices to optimize billing, coding, claims submission, and reimbursement processes.
  • Ensure the organization's adherence to healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, clinical services, and information technology, to achieve integrated revenue cycle solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and drive process improvements.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors related to revenue cycle services.
  • Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in Revenue Cycle Management in Dental, Orthodontic or Medical Billing setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
  • Proficient in multiple practice management software, experience with Denticon and Dentrix Ascend preferred.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing revenue cycle optimization initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with implementing and managing revenue cycle management technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
