Job Description

The Concord Group, a leading real estate consulting firm, is seeking candidates for our internship program, Setting Standards in Summer. With over 30 consultants and researchers in four offices (Newport Beach, San Francisco, Atlanta and Austin), The Concord Group advises some of the nation's premierdevelopers, home builders, financial institutions and municipalities on large land use, strategic development and financing decisions.

As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with an exceptional team of principals and consultants on a variety of projects, ranging from master-planned communities and urban mixed-use developments to multifamily housing and more. This Internship is meant to provide a foundation in both consulting and the real estate industry, and will give you considerable exposure to a variety of product types as well as the analytical tools needed to succeed in this competitive field. Interns will also gain significant knowledge and insight into Microsoft Excel and other critical real estate and economic research databases.

An Intern is integral to the daily operation of the firm, and will have an active role in supporting engagements, including:

  • Primary research on real estate subjects and entities around the globe
  • Interviews with Real Estate professionals to gain insight into markets
  • Creating exhibitory, reports and maps suitable for professional presentation
  • Interacting with team members, principals and clients

This program will run 8-10 weeks (mid-June to mid-August, dates to be confirmed) and compensation is based on level of experience starting at $4,000 per month. This is a full-time, in-person position with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in exploring economic and market analyses as well as real estate and consulting strategies
  • Quantitative background and analytical problem-solving ability
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate complex topics
  • High standard of accuracy, attention to detail, and speed under time-sensitive deadlines
  • Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree or MBA program
  • Graduating between December 2024 and June 2025
  • Demonstrated academic success, based on rigorous courses and outside activities
  • This is an on-site internship at one of three of our offices, you must be able to attend in person
