Our Accounting team is growing, and we are looking to add a Senior Corporate Accountant! This role will require not only a high degree of collaboration with Property Accountants, but also cross-functionally, so the person in this role will have the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels. This role reports to the Director of Corporate Accounting.
What You’ll Do
The Senior Corporate Accountant will work cooperatively with their team and the corporate entity and portfolio. Specifically, this work will include but will not be limited to the following:
- Monthly general ledger maintenance
- Quarterly variance analysis
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Financial statement preparation
- Assist with cash management including Accounts Receivable tracking and collections
- Oversight of corporate and portfolio tax return preparation
- Oversight of multi-state sales amp; use tax return preparation and filing
- Assist in identifying areas for process improvement, documenting processes, and working with our internal projects team to execute on any improvements noted to create more efficiency

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 3-5 years of general ledger / financial statement preparation in a similar environment
- Knowledge of MRI, Avidxchange, Chrome River, and Anaplan is a plus
- Strong Excel knowledge required (Pivots, VLookups, Match, etc.)
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
