Job Details

As an Electrical Warehouse Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our electrical equipment and supplies warehouse. You will play a crucial role in managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring a well-organized and safe warehouse environment. This position requires strong organizational and leadership skills, along with a deep understanding of electrical products. You will need great verbal and written communication skills and be friendly and respectful of all employees, visitors, vendors, or customers.

Team Management

  • Lead and supervise warehouse personnel, including staff recruitment and training.
  • Foster a positive work environment.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to ensure a smooth workflow, manage workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Run daily team meetings set for 7:30 AM and follow the Daily Meeting Checklist
  • Weekly inspections of the property every Friday after 7:30 AM Daily Meeting.
  • Monthly 1:1 with each team member to evaluate team expectations and duties.

Communication Skills

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to motivate and lead the team.
  • Communicate with your team and make sure you are as transparent as possible.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Computer Knowledge amp; Skills

  • Intermediate knowledge of Outlook Email
  • Basic to Intermediate knowledge of MS Word
  • Basic to Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
  • Basic knowledge of Kojo preferred (Training is available)

Warehousing

  • Warehouse organization and cleanliness are to be second to none.
  • Ensure all special projects are being executed daily by the team.
  • Extremely organized and exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimize productivity and minimize costs.
  • Generate reports on inventory, order status, and warehouse performance

Shipping and Receiving

  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Ability to lift heavy weight from time to time.
  • Receiving is done in an acceptable timely manner and put away properly.
  • Accept deliveries from vendors - check, inspect, and count materials for accuracy against the packing slip Note any discrepancies or damaged goods - mark or refuse accordingly.
  • Upon receiving freight- label with job name, number, and description.
  • Maintain accurate vendor delivery logs, including handling shipping documentation.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Restock or pull inventory to be delivered to and from
