Job Description

We are seeking a versatile and dynamic individual to fill the role of Talent and People Ops Coordinator, to assist in the responsibilities of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources functions. This hybrid role involves attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent while also contributing to various HR processes to ensure a positive and productive work environment. The role will report directly to the Manager of Recruiting and People Ops and occasionally assist the Sr. HR Manager as well. The role will involve roughly 70% recruiting responsibilities, and 30% People Ops/HR responsibilities.

Eligible candidates must reside in one of the following states: CO, DC, FL, GA, MA, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA

Recruitment Tasks:

  • Create and post job ads on various job boards, hiring platforms, and forums.
  • Track, measure and prepare reports on recruitment activity.
  • Create, update, disseminate, and organize interview tools, job descriptions, and other recruitment-related materials.
  • Conduct screening interviews
  • Handle communications with a wide variety of candidates
  • Maintain applicant and hired staff information confidentiality.
  • Perform background checks, investigate references, and assess candidates’ competencies to determine whether they are a good fit for roles.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both candidates and hiring teams.

People Operations Tasks:

  • Support HR functions such as benefits administration, employee records management, provider background checks, payroll prep and compliance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing creative and effective virtual team-building activities and initiatives.
  • Facilitate events that encourage team bonding, communication, and a sense of community.
  • Assist in implementing regular surveys to gather feedback on team engagement and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in both Talent Acquisition and People Ops roles.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, sourcing techniques, and HR practices.
  • Knowledge and understanding of employment laws, particularly those related to recruiting and hiring.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, employees, and team members.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR software. Experience with Workable and Rippling is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Excel for data analysis, reporting, and project tracking.
  • At least one year of experience or education in HR.
  • One year of experience in Recruiting conducting face to face interviews.
