Job Summary:

The Senior Software Technical Project Manager will support the establishment and operation of a new software organization in Laramie, WY. This role involves close collaboration with the Managing Director to develop and integrate operational processes, ensure seamless communication with the headquarters in Brea, CA, and oversee the RAVE In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) software development projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Senior leadership to spearhead the setup and management of the Project Management Office
  • Define and refine project scope, goals, and deliverables in partnership with senior stakeholders
  • Develop, implement, and oversee full-scale project plans, ensuring integration with organizational strategies
  • Manage resources and timelines across multiple projects
  • Foster effective communication and reporting mechanisms for project progress to key stakeholders
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes throughout project life cycles
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and manage risk throughout all projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 6-10 years of experience in a project management role, with proven experience in leading PMO or similar entities
  • Strong operational background, particularly in setting up new organizations or departments
  • Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project) and agile methodologies
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent senior-level project management certification
