1 Resource Group is currently seeking an Electrical QA for a construction project in Hillsboro, OR. As an Electrical QA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of electrical systems within the project.
As an Electrical QA, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and tests on electrical systems to ensure they meet the required standards and codes. You will collaborate closely with the project team to identify and address any issues or potential risks, and provide recommendations for improvement. Additionally, you will review electrical design plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Skills
- Able to communicate with trades (speak language of the trades). Technically skilled to act as the interface between trades, the designers and the tool owners. Need to understand tool drawing set for the corresponding functional area, to solve field contraction issues.
- Thorough understanding of respective discipline (EL, ME, PI, AR, LSS) to drive trade’s coordination. Understanding of Area Layout. Knowledge of micro schedule for pre facilitation, understanding of sequence of construction activities and tool sequence.
- Able to track hours in the field and to assess earned value. Coordinate pre facilities readiness check lists.
- Able to resolve technical construction questions in the field.
- Strong knowledge is required in the following areas; local and national codes; construction drawings/symbols; acceptable industry standard/practices
Responsibilities
- Support all customers in driving resolution to design package and panel schedule issues
- Manage the EEW, COHE and lock out/tag out procedures and sign-off
- Review Electrical SIPP’s for accuracy of content
- Instrument amp; Controls experience, NEC knowledge, specifications knowledge preferred

o ASSE American Society of Safety Engineers
o IAEI International Association of Electrical Inspectors
Requirements
- Semi Conductor/ Clean Room QA experience is a plus
- Previous experience in electrical QA in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and standards
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify issues and risks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for electrical QA inspections and tests
