The Position

This position exists to provide a broad range of campaign and administrative systems support for the Climate amp; Energy Program (Camp;E) in close coordination with the Deputy Director of Operations and Campaign Managers. Campaign support includes, but is not limited to, project support and coordination, support for outreach and organizing efforts, and ongoing campaign communications support. The associate will implement processes and tools for tracking measurable campaign impact. The campaign associate also contributes to the administration and logistical support for various Camp;E program systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Support: Project Coordination
    • Provide production assistance for reports and other materials, which could involve gathering and compiling data, supporting research tracking, organizing, fact-checking, and summarizing material such as data, photos, and graphics as well as importing reports into a UCS report templates.
    • Set up and manage communication and file storage structures within project teams.
    • Utilize online project management tools and dashboards to support campaign project teams and leaders.
    • Support efforts for intra-campaign communication between project teams.
  • Campaign Support: Outreach and Organizing
    • Support campaign leadership with planning and logistics of various activist and expert trainings, load action alerts, and provide administrative assistance needed to support the deployment of experts.
  • Campaign Support: Communications, tracking, ongoing administrative coordination.
    • Support campaign social media strategy and efforts.
    • Support the success of the Camp;E Program’s various campaign goals, including campaign planning, strategic goals, and related tracking.
    • Support integration of organizational library tools and services into campaigns and projects.
    • Schedule multiple external and internal campaign meetings and note-taking.
    • Organize, plan, and support in-person events like work events or campaign retreats.
    • Provide technical support for various software systems (Team, Zoom, etc.)
  • Program Support: Administrative Operations
    • Coordinate and prepare financial documents of contracts and MOUs, across Camp;E with close collaboration with the finance and administration team.
    • Process and track invoices for partner support, conference sponsorships, and in- person project events.
    • Support program-wide processes and initiatives including but not limited to logistical support for program retreats, calendar systems improvements, file storage and sharing improvements, and contributions to Camp;E program culture and community building efforts.
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is preferred.

  • 1-2 years of project support or coordination, administrative or research support, including document library services, is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational abilities and good written and oral communication skills.
