Job Description

ALTIVIA is a leading supplier of chemicals with a portfolio of products services various industries and customers across North America. With a strong commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction, ALTIVIA has established itself as a key player in the Chemical industry and we are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a key Account Manager for the Midwestern region.

This position can be located anywhere in the Midwest region

As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing key accounts within the Midwestern region of the United States. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in sales and account management, as well as experience with Chemical Distribution. Travel will be required.

Requirements

  1. Account Management: Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  2. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
  3. Sales Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products/services to existing clients.
  4. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to align strategies and meet customer requirements.
  6. Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance including call reports, market trends, forecasts and customer feedback.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales and account management, preferably in the Chemical Industry.
  2. Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  3. Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships.
  4. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
  5. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Chemical Industry in the Midwestern region and/or Distributor experience is a plus.
  6. Results-Driven: Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a focus on driving revenue growth.
  7. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
