Project Manager - Operations

We’re looking for a Project Manager to deliver Operations projects on time and on budget, ensuring stakeholder identification and alignment from charter and scope process, through project/initiative reviews, and retrospective tracking and analysis. Location

• This role will be located in the Chicago area close to our partner sites and Operations management, and is expected to work in a hybrid capacity from home and at our partner sites.

On the Plate

• Scope and execute on cross-departmental projects within Operations
• Develop and manage timelines, including facilitation of status meetings
• Track and communicate results of projects to top-level management clearly and simply
• Identify project risks, clearly communicate to stakeholders, and initiate risk mitigation strategies proactively
• Work with business owners to establish key metrics and benchmarks and monitor them on an ongoing basis (examples include marketing channel evaluation, customer retention by segment, margins by product line, etc)

Main Ingredients for the Role

• 4+ years relevant work experience, 2 years specifically in operations project management
• Prior experience in a startup or fast-moving company strongly desired
• Problem-solving individual with ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution
• Proficient in Google suite
• Experience with Excel, Microsoft Project, Asana (or other project management software), business intelligence / reporting tools (we use Looker), and relational databases are a plus but are not required
• PMP Certification is a nice to have
