Admissions Counselor (Part Time, Remote)

Job Description
We are hiring for a part-time remote Admissions Counselor to join our dynamic team and interview impressive global applicants for our online, modern graduate degree programs, including Masters of Science in Business Analytics and Masters of Science in Software Engineering. Must have experience interacting with high-achieving professionals, a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, and an eagerness to learn. Rate: $30/hr, 15-25 hours per week.
Primary responsibilities include conducting applicant interviews with professionals from a variety of industries, backgrounds, and cultures, providing evidence-based assessments to assist in determining program fit, and supporting applicants through the admissions process up until program registration.
Candidates for this position should excel in interpersonal roles and possess superior presentation skills. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, polished, and upbeat communicator who is comfortable speaking with senior-level executives and entrepreneurs while representing the Quantic brand. Hires for this position will be among the first to interview applicants for new Quantic programs and thus should also be highly adaptable and comfortable with evolving processes.
Requirements
- Authorization to work in the U.S. Physical residence in the U.S.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Exceptional communication, presentation, interpersonal skills
- Ability to cultivate relationships and build rapport
- Comfort and experience with a multicultural client base or work environment
- Self-starter; growth and results-oriented
- Ability to consistently work a shift of hours
- Familiarity with software engineering roles and career progression in the tech industry
AND/OR
- Familiarity with modern data/analytics tools and functions (modern stack)
Preferred
- MBA or other graduate-level or higher degree
- Experience working in high-performance standard, driven, and team-oriented environment
- Occasionally contribute off-shift availability during evenings and weekends

This is a part-time position in which employees can be based anywhere in the U.S. Admissions Counselors report to an Admissions Counselor Manager and are in a probationary period for the first two admissions cycles. We ask that you apply only if you consistently have at least 15-20 hours/week to contribute towards this work, as well as a functioning device that meets the minimum systems requirements listed above.
