Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Structural Engineer in Washington DC.
Responsibilities:
- Engineering efforts include supporting all aspects of project management, fieldwork, and design.
- Perform conceptual, preliminary, and final design of stations, bridges, retaining walls, and vertical structures
- Perform bridge scoping studies and alternatives analyses
- Drafting of project details and plans using MicroStation or AutoCAD software platforms
- Develop specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules
- Prepare technical reports and analyses
- Assist in the development of construction bid documents
- Provide design support services during construction
Requirements
- 3+ years of civil or structural engineering experience
- BS in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis preferred)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and MathCAD
- MicroStation or AutoCAD experience is a plus
- Finite Element Modeling (FEM) software experience is a plus
- EIT/EI preferred
