We are a computer repair service that specializes in providing repair and data recovery services to both consumers and small businesses. We are currently seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in IT Support and computer repair.
Shift:M-F 9am-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Repair and replace damaged or malfunctioning computer components, including hard drives, RAM, motherboards, and power supplies.
- Install and configure operating systems, software applications, and drivers.
- Travel On-Site as needed to residential and small businesscustomers for troubleshooting, setup and repair.
- Perform data backup and recovery operations.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure maximum uptime and availability.
- Maintain inventory of computer equipment and supplies.
- Document all repairs and maintenance activities in the ticketing system and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience using a Ticketing / CRM system.
- At least 2 yrs prior performing laptop repair
- Proficiency in both Mac and PC systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent. An associate degree or technical certification in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in computer repair, troubleshooting, and technical support.
- Familiarity with operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
