As a Sr. DevOps Engineer at CodeHunter you will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of our core DevOps infrastructure. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging scaling projects, learn new technologies, and make a significant impact on our infrastructure as code (IaC). Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software architects, engineers, and IT professionals for smooth deployment, automation, and management of software infrastructure.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for multiple software applications, 25+ microservices and environments.
- Create and maintain monitoring systems to guarantee high availability and performance for software applications.
- Lead enhancements to our cloud infrastructure at AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Troubleshoot software and infrastructure issues and collaborate with the team on making informed data driven improvements to the infrastructure stack. Bring signal to alarm noise.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, then utilize those skills to drive software infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 6+ years of professional DevOps experience.
- Strong knowledge of scaling frameworks like Keda, Karpenter etc. including familiarity with On Demand and Spot Instance scaling in cloud environment.
- Strong background in scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, Bash, JavaScript
- Extensive expertise in CI/CD systems like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, and AWS Code pipeline, Travis CI, or CircleCI etc.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- SCM, Build, CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Maven, Gradle, AWS Codepipeline etc.
- IaC: Terraform Enterprise/Cloud, CloudFormation, Ansible etc.
- Container Orchestration: EKS, ECS, argocd
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Preferred
- DBMS: MySQL, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, NoSQL DBs like MongoDB
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies. (Jira)
