The Acoustic team is looking for software engineers to join a team focused on building the next generation digital marketing platform using managed services in the AWS environment. Come work alongside some of the best engineers in the business, architecting a highly scalable, multi-tenant, SaaS platform than can send billions of marketing messages per week and provide insights into those interactions with intelligent visualizations and analytics.
This role is responsible for building accurate and performant measures which provide our customers with analytics and valuable data points on journeys that realize the full value of engagements across channels. You will also research innovative technologies and design solutions that can be leveraged to improve performance and scalability within a cloud environment.
What you will do
- Compose reporting and underlying structures that benefit our customers
- Be a maker and a breaker of strategies and workflows
- Work with a team to use and help optimize Snowflake schemas
- Participate in code reviews
- Facilitate knowledge sharing by owning and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- Push company innovation efforts and stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
- Work collaboratively with product managers, architects, and other software engineers to define key milestones and manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a software developer
- 3+ years working with ETL and Data Engineering Tools processing large datasets.
- 3+ years of experience with at least one programming language like Java, Python, NodeJS
- Working knowledge of Relational databases e.g., Snowflake and Redshift
- Experience with NoSQL databases (Like Mongo or DocDB)
- Experience with BI tools e.g., Google Looker, Power BI, Tableau ...
- Experience with cloud-based distributed application scaling amp; data processing.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment that requires independent self-direction, strong attention to detail and an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
