Job Brief
Etz Hayim is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance department. This position will be responsible for managing all installation, repair, and upkeep of our production and warehouse equipment, ensuring our equipment is reliable and prepared to perform consistently at the highest level. This position will report directly to the Plant Manager.

Etz Hayim owns and operates the brands Cycling Frog and Lazarus Naturals, as well as a sprawling operation that spans from farming over 300 acres of hemp, extraction, chemical processing, packaging, supply chain and warehousing to support both brands and private label customers.

Cycling Frog is normalizing the consumption of casual use THC products. We want to change the way THC is consumed and viewed by our society by focusing on lower potency, ready to drink beverages that can easily fit into anyone’s lifestyle. Under the Federal Farm Bill it is legal to sell these low potency THC products across all 50 states via the internet, and anywhere you can grab a beer.
Job Responsibilities:
Planning and Reporting
- Develop, optimize and execute the annual preventative maintenance plan. Lead the team to develop longer planning horizons for maintenance against forecasted use and known equipment lifetimes, and build contingencies and proper budgeting to ensure operational continuity.
- Assist operations to ensure that their equipment is operating to support execution of product cost targets and long term goals to drive current and future profitability. Assist the Plant Manager and Engineering Director to identify key cost drivers and where our business can create cost savings via operational changes and capital investment.
- Assist in the development and execution of Facility and Capex plans for production and warehousing to support our growth strategy and forecasts. Assist in the planning, ROI analysis, risk analysis and execution for production and facilities projects.
- Develop KPIs and deliverables for the Maintenance team. Implement weekly and monthly reporting on equipment functionality, uptime, and maintenance KPIs.
Maintenance
- Manage and oversee the facility and equipment maintenance, repair, cleanliness and good operation in compliance with our Quality requirements and operational needs. Ensure that all equipment operates at peak performance, and coordinate all maintenance, repairs and training to ensure that the team is properly trained on maintenance.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance for all equipment, and implement a tracking system to ensure compliance with the schedule.
- Develop and implement a spare parts inventory system. Identify and purchase all key spare parts of all equipment, and create a clear inventory management system to keep track of all parts.
- Develop, manage, and maintain the annual maintenance budget.
- Support Production, Quality and Sanitation departments by ensuring equipment is functioning properly, consistently maintained and in working order. Design, implement and execute maintenance schedules for every piece of equipment.
- Partner with the Director of Engineering and Plant Manager across design layout and installation, equipment purchases for all facility and construction projects. Develop equipment requirements, electrical pulls and utility mapping for all facility projects.
- Plan and execute small facility and construction projects. Lead the team in executing smaller jobs and parts of larger jobs in-house.
- Partner with the Plant Manager to improve production processes and optimize the equipment and flow to reduce labor, waste and equipment wear. Assist in equipment selection for industry-leading productivity, ergonomics, and safety.
- Coordinate with local site management to ensure operator training, procedural compliance, maintenance and safety practices are followed for all equipment.
