Summary: Under the general supervision of the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Clerk will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support for inbound logistical operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enter shipment/vessel related information into the system such as container numbers and vessel arrival dates.
- Monitor open PO reports to ensure that all import shipments are scheduled to sail on time.
- Run customer PO reports to ensure product is scheduled to arrive on time to meet customer ship windows.
- Assist with various tasks that will result in increased visibility for the management team to make projections as needed.
- Under strict supervision, assist with receiving import and local domestic shipments into the system.
- Under strict supervision, perform inventory adjustments and transfers.
- Other tasks as needed or assigned.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
- High School Diploma Required / Associate Degree Preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support or customer service role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists.
- Interest and ability to learn new software and programs.
- Ability to multi-task and navigate through various systems and tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Compensation: $18.00-$22.99/Hour based on experience.
