We are seeking a Client Success Proposal Director to lead and accelerate the proposal team.

Client Success Proposal Manager Summary

The Client Success Organization has laser-focused vision to drive the value and accelerate impact to and for Federal, State and Local government agencies through ClassWallet’s revolutionary technology solution and services. The Proposal Manager role engages multiple internal and external stakeholders to conduct market research, perform feasibility and desirability analysis, create and align operational processes to the company’s new business strategies, and provide overall leadership to proposal development initiatives with, at times, highly complex state and federal bids within tight deadlines.

A successful Client Success Proposal Manager will be highly agile, collaborative, organized and mission-centric as they lead a proposal team at the exciting forefront of opportunity and growth for the company. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Client Success.

Requirements

  • Develops and fosters positive and professional working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating a customer-centric focus and sense of urgency for both the company and customer success!
  • Provide leadership and oversight of proposal development. Bringing project management skills and utilizing strategic Project Management Institute (PMI) methodologies to successfully coordinate all proposal support and execution processes associated with Federal, State and Local opportunities. Primarily:
    • Overall Leadership: define and drive mission-centric vision for the proposal management team under the direction of the Client Success Senior Director.
    • Prospective Opportunity: coordinate forecasting, timelines and effectively communicate upcoming opportunities to mobilize internal company stakeholders.
    • Strategic Planning: proactively anticipate the needs of bid opportunities through engagement with the go-to-market team, research of funding segment and competitive landscape, identifying methods to identify and articulate ClassWallet’s competitive advantages, and support entry strategies into additional markets. This requires strategic knowledge and intelligence management.
    • Bid Project Management amp; Oversight: lead the request for information (RFI), request for quote (RFQ) and/or request for proposal (RFP) or other state, federal, and local bid models from A to Z. Engaging appropriate stakeholders, assigning proposal managers to opportunities, communicating clear timelines, designing PMI-adherent processes, scoping or customization requirement definition, positioning and applying applicable decision and pricing matrices, and final approval for submission with the goal to ensure the team submits a high quality, compliance and compelling proposal on time. This requires solid project management skills and processes.
    • Post Bid Submission Monitoring and Execution: monitoring and engaging key stakeholders through the process to final bid decision, including:
      • Channeling bid summary information to internal stakeholders as a measure of win-preparedness.
      • Coordinate all post-bid activities including clarifications, presentations/demonstrations, FOIA’s, library management, etc.
      • Adjusting plan as needed.
      • Conduct strategy debrief sessions with internal teams.
    • Serve as a point of bid escalation and engage leadership and other internal stakeholders, as necessary.
    • Drive and maximum automation and tools through the entire process.
    • Oversee compliance processes and templates.
    • Analyze staffing support and submit scaling needs to the Senior Director, as needed. Participate and adhere to company hiring practices. </
