Job Description
Expertise and Functions
- Ensure responsiveness and negotiate submitted proposals with the Contracting Officer/Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (CO/COTR)
- Ensure that projects are fully controlled, that goals and objectives are set, program responsibility is assigned, and results are documented
- Maintain a general knowledge of all technical and management areas of the contract
- Interface with Government management personnel, contractor managers, and customer agency representatives
- Formulate and enforce work standards, and assign, schedule and review work
- Disseminate policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates
- Support Director, Leadership team and/or Management team as needed
- Other duties as assigned
This position is contingent upon contract award.Requirements
Education/Training (both required and desired):
- Master’s Degree specializing in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or Information Technology from an accredited program required
- PMP Certification, or minimum 2 years managing large IDIQ (300+ FTEs) in lieu of PMP Certification, required
Experience:
- 10+ years of Acquisition Management experience with Government or Industry, at least 5 years of which must be in a Defense acquisition program as either a program or project manager
- Strong knowledge of the FAA’s Air Traffic Organization and the FAA’s Acquisition Management System (AMS) required
- At least 10 years PM experience managing complex technical programs exceeding $10M in budget
- Experience leading teams of 60 100 or more employees
- Relevant experience includes but is not limited to:
- Managing a large geographically dispersed workforce
- Program governance
- Multiple project integration management
- Managing resources across multiple projects
- Managing stakeholder communication
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
