We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals. Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations and assessments in a kind and respectful manner
Modify treatment plans and exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist, always putting patient needs first
Instruct and supervise patients on therapeutic exercises and activities with patience and empathy
Utilize various modalities, such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation, to help relieve pain and improve function, while ensuring patient comfort and safety
Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for performing exercises and activities at home with kindness and understanding
Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes in a thorough and compassionate manner
Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure a seamless patient experience
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records with care and attention to detail
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program
Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting
Knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices, with a passion for helping patients achieve their goals
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and empathetic approach to patient care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to collaboration and mutual respect
