6+ Month Contract to Full Time Hire
Location: Alpharetta, GA (3 days per week hybrid on-site)
Responsibilities
- Create, enhance, and sustain high-quality Java applications
- Collaborate with diverse teams to outline, craft, and deliver new features
- Contribute to the development of microservices architecture, implementing best practices
- Apply expertise in the Spring framework to construct scalable and efficient applications
- Build front-end components using Angular or React for a smooth user experience
- Integrate seamlessly with NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval
- Engage in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to team members
- Diagnose, debug, and optimize application performance
- Stay abreast of industry trends and infuse best practices into development processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrate expertise as a Java Developer, particularly with proficiency in the Spring framework
- Possess a robust understanding of microservices architecture and its practical implementation
- Exhibit proficiency in front-end technologies like Angular or React
- Have hands-on experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
- Display a solid grasp of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Showcase excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experienced with Docker / Kubernetes
- Experienced with Cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD
