Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers Hotel is seeking an experienced and motivated candidate to take charge of our kitchen operations as the Executive Chef at the Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Myers.

The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. You will supervise both direct and indirect kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, and banquet attendants.

Salary: $48,000 - $50,000

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all food and beverage and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.
  • Ensure that all food is of the utmost quality, fresh, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external guests.
  • Lead the food and beverage team by fostering motivation and teamwork. This includes supervising, training, coaching, counseling, evaluating performance, and making employment recommendations as necessary.
  • Oversee the preparation of food for banquets, including menu planning, portion control, and plate presentation.
  • Work scheduled shifts and cover open shifts as needed.
  • Order kitchen, banquet, and bar supplies, including food, paper products, liquor, beer, and wine.
  • Maintain current best practices in food and beverage. Adhere to health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Ensure proper food handling and train staff in safe practices as required. Responsible for maintaining kitchen sanitation and use logs as well as waste logs.
  • Manage inventories for the bar and kitchen, and report on sales results and productivity.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by always acting and communicating professionally with customers, coworkers, and managers.
