As a Family Practice Physician you will examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility. Typical job duties include taking patient histories, performing or requesting diagnostic tests, making diagnoses, prescribing treatment, administering vaccinations and performing follow-up examinations, as well as educating patients in disease prevention and health maintenance. Additional duties include preparing medical records, clinical reports and correspondences. Commit to train future family physicians to deliver quality health services to patients of diverse cultural, ethnic and economic backgrounds. You will teach the residents to treat all patients with dignity regardless of the patient’s background.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Conducting comprehensive physical examinations of patients to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries
Developing treatment plans and prescribing medications as necessary
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and laboratory tests
Providing ongoing care for chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
Providing preventive care, including immunizations and health screenings
Counseling patients on lifestyle modifications, such as exercise and diet, to improve their health outcomes
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
A valid medical license to practice in the state no board actions
Board certification in Family Medicine
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a family medicine practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
The ability to work effectively in a team environment

Salary:
$220,000-$300,000 annually.
The salary will be highly competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
