Hire Resolve's client is seeking a Tax Staff Accountant to join their accounting team in Austin, TX. As a Tax Staff Accountant, the successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with their tax-related matters and providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual and business tax returns
- Assist clients with tax planning and compliance
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations
- Resolve tax-related issues and provide recommendations
- Generate financial reports for clients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency in tax software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CPA/EA certification is preferred
