What the position looks like:
- Working with multiple clients each week across a variety of accounting platforms amp; tools
- Focus on accounting responsibilities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash flow, reconciliations amp; month end close
- This position is geared towards those looking for part-time work, with a potential to increase hours as client needs grow
- Paid hourly to start with an opportunity to transition to employee in the future
- Part-time, flexible hours based on your capacity amp; our client needs
- 1099 part-time, contract role
- Fully remote
Requirements
- Interest in building up your hours over time, this is not a full-time role to start
- Prior experience in an Accountant or Controller role is a must; ideally 2+ years
- Accounting degree or equivalent work experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and practices
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Experience with various accounting platforms (QuickBooks, QBO, Xero, etc.)
