The Role:

As an HR Business Partner with Congo Brands, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic people agenda and supporting the overall business objectives of the company. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders, managers, and employees to deliver comprehensive HR solutions, enhance employee engagement, and foster a positive and inclusive work environment. This position requires a broad understanding of HR best practices, business acumen, excellent communication, and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Planning: Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals and objectives. Provide guidance and support on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning to ensure the availability of skilled and motivated employees.

Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee-related issues. Conduct investigations, mediate conflicts, and ensure fair and consistent application of company policies and employment laws.

Performance Management: Support managers in effectively managing employee performance by providing guidance on performance improvement plans, goal setting, and feedback mechanisms. Collaborate on performance evaluations, promotions, and talent development initiatives.

Talent Development: Identify and address skill gaps within the organization through training, coaching, and development programs. Collaborate with managers to create individual development plans and succession pipelines. Facilitate knowledge sharing and employee growth opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits: Partner with the HR team to develop and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and industry standards while attracting and retaining top talent.

Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Work with HR team to develop strategies for recognition programs, employee surveys, and other activities that promote a positive work culture.

Change Management: Actively participate in organizational change initiatives, providing expertise on the people-related aspects of change management. Support leaders in communicating changes, managing resistance, and facilitating a smooth transition.

HR Analytics and Reporting: Utilize HR data and analytics to generate insights and make data-driven recommendations. Prepare and present reports on HR metrics, workforce trends, and other relevant data to support business decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or SPHR) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in HR roles.
  • Broad knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, talent development, and change management.
  • Ability to analyze HR data, generate meaningful insights, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Travel:

Must be willing to travel up to 25%
