This is a full-time salaried hybrid role located in Auburn Hills, MI. The role requires your presence in the office for at least 2 days a week.

Detroit Labs OnSite Business Unit is looking for a Senior iOS Software Developer to join an exciting project with an existing client that drives game-changing automotive technology. This role will work on connected vehicle services for customers owning vehicles with connected capabilities across the USA and Canada. These systems consist of several backend, frontend, and middleware applications. The systems integrate with the connectivity units inside the vehicle, and enable features like the ability to remotely start the vehicle, view parking locations, Alexa voice commands, and many more. Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in developing native iOS applications available in the App Store. Industry experience is required to be considered
- Experience working with Xcode 15 and Swift 5.9
- Demonstrated experience in developing apps that seamlessly interact with web services, utilizing REST and JSON
- Experience with extension implementation and integration, including Intents, Intents UI, Watch, Action, etc.
- Experience and knowledge around continuous and automated deployments using Fastlane
- Experience configuring Xcode schemes and build settings, demonstrating a deep understanding of the development environment
- Experience with the end-to-end iOS app store publishing process
- Experience in developing unit tests and UI tests to ensure the reliability and quality of the applications
- Must be able to work in a hybrid model at our Auburn Hills, MI location for at least 2 days per week

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Commit to completing well-defined work and deliver on those commitments
- Perform technology evaluation and design spikes
- Participate in code reviews and providing valuable feedback for improvement
- Report status of assigned software development tasks
- Provide leadership and assistance among and across teams/organizations
- Present ideas, concepts, and POC's to teams and stakeholders
- Promote improvements in programming practices such as functional/acceptance test driven development, continuous integration, and test automation
