POSITION SUMMARY

As VP of Ecosystem and Alliances, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our technology partner program. Leveraging your extensive experience, creativity, and leadership skills, you will collaborate closely with Vasion's product management, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to cultivate sustained strategic partnerships. You will orchestrate developing technology integrations and authoring powerful better together stories to drive both direct and indirect revenue. You will also help grow the business and advance our software offerings through mergers and acquisitions of strategic technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in leading strategic partnerships in a SaaS and/or software company, including an instinct for capturing new business and market opportunities through joint solution and technology opportunities with the strategic partners. They must also have experience in building and managing a successful Mamp;A practice within a technology organization. In addition, the candidate must have the connections and executive presence to lead and collaborate with the alliance partners teams including at the C-suite level in order to grow and scale the business.

WHAT’S EXPECTED OF YOU?

Strategic Business Development:

  • Build and execute strategic business plans with key technology partners across public cloud and technology ecosystems.
  • Negotiate partnership contracts and collaborate on joint solutions, integrations, and go-to-market initiatives to drive business outcomes.
  • Drive co-build (integrations), co-market, and co-sell initiatives with targeted cloud and technology partners.

Technology and Solution Strategy:

  • Work closely with product teams to develop and execute a sustained technology and solution strategy with strategic alliance partners.
  • Oversee the development of joint value propositions, benefits, and use cases for integrated solutions.


Mergers amp; Acquisitions

  • Deliver program that identifies and evaluates potential acquisition targets.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for mergers and acquisitions to expand our product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate successful integration of acquired technologies and teams.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Manage partner leadership and solution architecture teams focused on key partnerships supporting overall solutions and technology partnership strategies.
  • Coordinate with go-to-market teams (product marketing, marketing, alliance partnerships, pre-sales, and sales leadership) to enhance the value delivered by core and tech partner solutions.

Execution and Oversight:

  • Execute the company's holistic strategy with targeted cloud and technology partners.
  • Collaborate closely with the executive team in the overall execution of the partnership strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in creating and managing successful technology partner programs.
  • Strong background in forging strategic alliances, go-to-market partnerships, and technology integrations.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading mergers and acquisitions within the technology sector.
  • Leadership experience in building and managing effective teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the technology landscape and emerging trends.
  • 10+ plus years in Enterprise SaaS and/or Software companies in senior leadership roles, as well as experience leading partnerships with AWS, Google, and Microsoft Azure. C-suite connections.
  • BA/BS is required, MBA desired.
