Job Summary
The People Strategy amp; Organizational Development Coordinator is a dynamic role designed for a professional with a foundational understanding of human resources and a keen interest in organizational development. This individual will support strategic initiatives and operations within the People amp; Employee Experience Team, contributing to the enhancement of organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
This person will partner with employees on multiple teams and build relationships both within and outside of Galloway to further a best-in-class employee experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Organizational Development Support:
o Assist in organizational assessments and contribute to the development of change management strategies.
o Support the implementation of succession planning with performance management systems to continuously evaluate and develop the skills and competencies of potential successors.
o Support leadership pipeline development programs a structured process to systematically develop and prepare staff for higher responsibilities over time.
o Support skill gap analysis, looking at the difference between the current capabilities of our staff and the skills required for future leadership roles.
Strategic Project Assistance:
o Support managing strategic projects that support the team’s annual operations plan.
o Help in gathering and analyzing HR data and metrics to inform decisions.
Learning and Development:
o Contribute to the design and delivery of training programs.
o Support the implementation and ongoing management of the corporate university and its alignment with organizational needs.
Employee Engagement and Culture:
o Assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance employee engagement leading to best-in-class engagement scores.
o Help coordinate employee onboarding processes and culture-building activities.
o Foster our culture that values continuous learning, growth, and development, which is critical for successful succession planning.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This role involves collaborating with project teams and assisting in managing cross-functional tasks.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Some experience in HR, particularly in areas related to organizational development and people strategy.
Good organizational skills and the ability to manage projects.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in basic HRIS, ATS, Microsoft Office, and relevant software tools.
Education/Licensure
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Years of Experience
Typically, 5 years of progressive experience in human resources, learning and development, organizational design or development.
