The Role
The Sr. Director of Distribution leads and oversees a team of Regional Directors. The Sr. Director of Distribution is responsible for driving the strategy and initiatives established by the Congo Brands leadership team. A main priority of the Sr. Director of Distribution is to partner with regional sales leadership of the newly established East/West segments of the sales organization to lead and execute segment goals.
Key Responsibilities
· Directly manage, coach, develop and motivate the Regional Directors to achieve team objectives.
· Develop and execute a strategic East/West sales plan by region to achieve targeted market share, revenue growth, and core KPIs.
· Conduct ongoing East/West analysis and sales forecasting and ensure . in order to achieve Region sales objectives.
· Ensure Congo Brands is positioned for growth within the respective regions by driving a strong sales culture including recognition and best practice sharing across the regions.
· Partner cross functionally to ensure maximum revenue growth is achieved in the East/West markets and respective regions.
· Maintain knowledge of regional competitive trends within East/ West markets
Key Skills and Experience Required
· 15+ years’ experience in traditional off premise sector.
· 8+ years’ experience leading sales teams
· Leadership, motivation and team skills
· Clear understanding of the off premise channel.
· A commitment to people management and development with a proven ability to build and develop talent
· Strong analytical and organizational ability
· Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and experience with Field Force automation
· High negotiation and interpersonal skills
· Experience with management reporting and budget control
· Valid Driver’s License
Education Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Travel
· 50%
· This position requires a clean driving record and authorization to obtain your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) upon receiving and accepting a job offer.
