The Calling:

The Product Marketing Manager will join the marketing team. This person will focus on building the product marketing function and will co-own, manage, and execute Branching Minds’s go-to-market strategies. They will work closely with the product, sales, customer success, and marketing teams to meet launch requirements and inspire confidence when selling Branching Minds’ products and services.

The Product Marketing Manager reports to the VP of Marketing and works closely with the Marketing team and the Product team.

What You Will Achieve:

  • Champion market and competitive intelligence efforts with competitive audits, primary market research, and analysts' reports, to inform positioning and messaging
  • Develop the value matrix of the different personas of the buyer-center, and related messaging
  • Develop, test, and iterate product positioning, messaging, and value propositions, and secure product and message market fit
  • Collaborate with the product team on use cases, product positioning, internal training, and GTM activities
  • Drive the sales enablement process and all aspects of internal (with Customer Success and Sales team) and external Go-To-Market
  • Drive demand and adoption of the product
  • Support the Sales team with customer-facing collateral that reflects a clear understanding of buyer needs, product features, product positioning, and market dynamics
  • Create effective marketing collateral (e.g. webinars, blogs, whitepapers) and sales enablement assets (e.g pitch decks, cheat sheets, demo scripts) that demonstrate how BRM products address key challenges for individual personas, in target states and nationally, to support go-to-market efforts
  • Co-own the go-to-market planning and execution for new services, products, and feature launches
  • Work with the marketing team to support growth marketing objectives, including showcasing our products at events, via content creation and paid opportunities
  • Disseminate key information from new releases across internal departments, existing customers, and the broader market
  • Gain customer insights through qualitative and quantitative dataK-12 market trends, internal reporting, customer feedback, and moreto inform product development, product messaging, and marketing

Requirements

Why We Want You:

  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing
  • You know the ins and outs of the K-12 education industry
  • Strong understanding of product marketing best practices and the product launch process
  • Excellent, compelling audience-first messaging and copywriting
  • Outstanding attention to detail, and project management skills to coordinate competing requests from cross-functional stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills to navigate ambiguity
  • Have experience with Asana, Guru, and/or similar tools
