EXPANDED LEARNING PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR @ Robert Louis Stevenson Elementary School

We are currently seeking committed and passionate Instructors to lead Academic, Enrichment and Recreation activities for the Expanded Learning Program. Our ideal Program Instructor will have a strong dedication to youth development, a sense of creativity and enthusiasm and be able to commit to working the entire school year.
Benefits:
- Pay rate: $23 - $25 an hour DOE
- 16 paid BACR holidays amp; additional sick leave
- Off during school holidays amp; weekends

Requirements
- Must have an AA degree or higher, 48 + college credits OR pass the SFUSD Instructional Aide Exam
- Ability to work Monday Friday 1:00 pm- 6:00pm for the duration of the school year (hours will be determined at time of offer, between 20 25 hours per week until 6:00pm)
- Must be able to communicate openly in a professional manner with students, parents, community partners, and BACR staff.
- Must pass a criminal background check and have TB Clearance
- Experience working with Elementary youth preferred
Responsibilities:
- Ability to manage classroom, plan, and facilitate activities for up to 20 students
- Create, plan, execute lesson plans for student enrichment
- Must be able to work independently or part of a team
- Actively supervise and ensure student safety at all times
- Model positive and proactive attitudes, behaviors and language
