Job Description

The Managing Director is responsible for the management of the Sales Directors with the primary responsibility of generating revenue. The focus of the team is to identify and develop the market potential of both local and national accounts through existing clients and new books of business.

MAJOR DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES

Meeting/Exceeding referral volume and revenue goals in the Sales region.

Support recruiting efforts for new Sales Director staff including:

  • Working with HR and the internal recruiting team
  • Network at regional conferences to build bench strength

Manage and coordinate the efforts of a sales force.

  • Train new Sales Directors
  • Ensure activity goals are met/exceeded
  • Technology is kept up to date with activity
  • Motivate, train, track and monitor efforts

Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments, making initial presentations, and understanding account requirements.

Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts, explaining product and service capabilities, and overcoming objections.

Accomplish marketing and organizational mission by completing and documenting related sales and account activities and results. Update knowledge by participating in industry opportunities.

Plans and Hosts various networking events for clients after-hours.

Other duties amp; special projects, as assigned and based on business needs.

Requirements

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

JOB RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

2+ years sales experience and/or industry knowledge.

Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred.

JOB RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

Presentation skills, internal communication, informing others, excellent communication skills, closing skills, motivation for sales, sales planning, area management, prospecting skills, and persistence in meeting sales goals. The ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently and meet specific deadlines.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Any lifting, bending, traveling, etc. required to do the job duties listed above. Long periods of sitting and computer work.

WORK FROM HOME TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Supply and support their own internet services.

Maintaining an uninterrupted internet connection is a requirement of all work-from-home positions.
