About the Role
We are seeking a Front End Web Developer for an elite business consulting firm. The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Overall Design: Improve mobile-friendliness, reduce excessive white space, and enhance aesthetic appeal. Resolve issues with the search bar, banners/graphics, and broken Twitter feed. Address broken links and reduce the need for excessive scrolling. Modernise fonts for a more contemporary look.
- About Page: Consider adding an About the Office section with historical background and achievements.
- Resources Pages: Redesign to include more graphics, external links, and concise information. Enhance the Consumer Rights link/box, provide relevant links, and include visuals.
- Reports Page: Update content to align with the retention schedule. Improve the design to reduce overwhelming white space.
- Assistance Page: Organize content efficiently to avoid redundancy and improve user experience.
- Jobs Page: Explore the implementation of a drop-down menu for job postings.
- Bottom Links: Resolve broken links for Site Policies amp; Accessibility. Review the Compact with Texans section for potential improvements.
- Suggested Changes: Restructure the navigation menu, possibly combining or reorganising sections. Establish a dedicated Contact Us page.
Requirements
The candidate should have the following qualifications and experience:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Web Designer/Developer, specifically with expertise in WordPress.
