Job Description

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the organization, transfer of inventory, reconciliation, and proper documentation for the companies used inventory. Support the Used Inventory Optimization Director in strategic tasks, striving for the highest profitability and safeguarding our inventory. The coordinator will ensure assistance in tracking and correction of unit location, title documents, statuses, locations, and reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Transfer of unit moves

  • Executing fast and efficient unit relocations
  • Utilizing the Lightspeed system for seamless unit transfers
  • Ensuring smooth communication throughout the entire process
  • Accurate cost entry for proper financial management

Tracking/reconciliation of units at locations

  • Thoroughly reconciling inventory to maintain accuracy
  • Managing units involved in cash offers
  • Overseeing units undergoing reconditioning

Unit movement tracking

  • Keeping a close eye on shipping timelines
  • Ensuring accurate entry of unit movement in Lightspeed system

Unit title documentation

  • Collaborating with accounting team to ensure proper processing
  • Ensuring all units have the necessary documentation for retail or wholesale sale

Organization of unit statuses

  • Maintaining the correct status and location for each unit

Reporting

  • Updating overall and location inventory information
  • Providing clear insights on timelines, statuses, and areas that require attention
  • Tracking transportation activities

Requirements

  • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Proven experience in inventory management, vendor management, and logistics
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, with good computer skills overall
    • Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail
