CNC Programmer

We're seeking a CNC Programmer to create, maintain and deploy CNC programs in the fabrication and development of VOLTURNUS components including critical structures, tooling and fixtures.

Requirements

• A technical degree and/or professional experience creating CNC toolpaths
• Ability to write and optimize CNC programs to create parts on 3 to 5 axis HAAS machines
• Ability to operate 3 to 5 axis HAAS machines
• Ability to manage your own time when working on multiple projects and with various deadlines
• Ability to solve practical problems and make decisions within a set of guidelines
• Knowledge of basic inspection equipment (Micrometer, Caliper, Optimal Comparator, Gage pins, etc..)Display evidence of exceptional abilities

Nice to Have:

• Recent experience with 2D/3D (surfacing) toolpaths
• Understanding of metalworking, fabrication and welding
• Experience with Solidworks
