Sr. Director, Member Engagement (Marketing)

As the Senior Director of Member Engagement, you will play a pivotal role in leading marketing initiatives for our top Employer Direct Healthcare clients and our members. Your primary focus will be to develop and execute marketing strategies that engage our members and drive increased utilization of our benefits. Collaborating with key stakeholders, you will contribute to the overall success of our member marketing programs and play a vital role in growing the overall Employer Direct Healthcare business.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Audience Understanding: Analyze and immerse in our member audience to fully understand their unique and consistently changing need states. Help develop and maintain audience personas/member behavior data over time to enable our marketing team to better target. Represent the member in all that our marketing team does.
  • Campaign Strategy and Execution: Develop marketing strategies specific to our clients and member base. Oversee the team activating marketing tactics on behalf of our clients to ensure efficacy and growth. Own the strategy and execution of member-facing marketing campaigns across various channels, including but not limited to email, print, and other vehicles. Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, making data-driven improvements and optimizations.
  • Marketing Channel Expertise: Provide in depth marketing channel expertise and guidance to the EDH clients and internal marketing group. Keep up to date on all the latest marketing strategies focused on the healthcare/patient arena. Maintain and share out detailed channel knowledge to drive innovation in our efforts to engage members.
  • Client Engagement: Own client marketing relationships with our key cohorts. Coordinate and collaborate with our account management team to engage clients consistently and effectively. Push member engagement growth through driving client adoption of progressive marketing programs. Be our clients strategic marketing guide and recognized expert in the room.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Member Services, Account Management and the extended Marketing team (including Product Marketing) to develop strategies that support member marketing programs. Critical to build solid bridges with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Performance Management: Singular goal around growing member engagement. Relentless drive to achieve top performance lead and lag metrics. Ability to seek out unique insights to fuel program optimization.
