Job Summary

The purpose of the Field Maintenance Supervisor (FMS) is to provide inexpensive and quick repairs to the facilities within the district. The FMS will report to the District Manager for priorities and ad hoc tasks. This position will be located in the Texas area, covering facilities located in Paris, Aubrey, Sherman, North Richland Hills, Ridgmar, Forest Hill, Waxahachie, Corsicana, Huntsville, and Pea Ridge.

  • Decrease unavailable spaces by 20%
  • Decrease Capex spending through vendor competition and scope analysis
  • Decrease monthly Ramp;M spend year over year

Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Track and prioritize maintenance requests from Storage Managers in the district
  • Minor repairs for Store Managers within the district including but not limited to: unit wall repair, lighting replacement and LED conversion, hasp replacement/repair, unit door repair, minor carpentry, minor plumbing, fixture or switch replacement, fence repair, etc.
  • Partner with the District Manager to assist with vendor and scope management for Capital Improvements in the market.
  • Manage company tool and vehicle inventory. Track mileage used for gathering materials, pricing projects, and traveling to facilities within the market. Track fuel purchased for vehicles and equipment around the district.
  • Track and reduce unavailable spaces within the market
  • Attend meetings with stakeholders related to scope and project management
  • Assist District Manager with running storage facilities where the business may require support.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver’s license
  • High School Diploma required

Benefits

This is a full-time opportunity offering $20 - $22 per hour. The schedule for this position will be Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. Hourly position with bonus potential. Health/Dental/Vision benefits. 401K with company contribution. PTO. Uniform stipend and greatest culture in the industry!
