Responsible for recruitment, admissions, re-enrollment, communications and oversight of all international student placement into Mannahouse Christian Academy, including part-time, full-time and groups; Enlists and coordinates student host families and maintains student/host family relationships; Organizes and implements all international student activities; Serves as the liaison between families, agents, students and MCA staff; Regularly interacts with students, parents, agents, host families, and MCA staff with any pertinent information needed for a successful school year.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Previous administrative experience; Proficient in software technologies, including databases, word processors, and spreadsheets; Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; Ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate a variety of activities; Ability to develop relationships with potential students, parents, and agents; Ability to work with a team and independently; Requires knowledge of issues pertaining to international students as well as an ability to teach English as a second language if needed; Understanding of cultural differences and sensitivities.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the FACTS system to facilitate recruitment, admissions, and enrolment for international students.
- Attends weekly meetings with the Administrative and Development Team; including all other meetings as needed.
- Follows up on and records all inquiries and collects the necessary information to assess if a student is a good candidate for MCA.
- Collects proper documentation for issuing I-20’s and/or transferring I-20’s and manages the visa process.
- Ensures accurate and timely payments from parents and agents as well as school to host family.
- Manages international student records storage and completion.
- Communicates and gives tours with students, local coordinators, agents, host families, and parents.
- Monitors and interacts with international students on behavior, host family interactions, spiritual needs, academic progress, and student activities.
- Manages entire host family placement process, including host family recruitment and evaluations to ensure proper qualifications.
- Serves as the Primary Designated School Official (DSO) for international students.
- Manages New Student Orientations.
- Oversees monthly birthday celebrations and international outings.
- Maintains International Calendar (student arrival, departure, outings, monthly lunch meetings).
- Produces quarterly newsletter for marketing purposes to agents and inquiries.
- Responsibilities are primary for the Vancouver and Portland Campus. For Eugene, this position assists with recruitment, admissions, reenrollment, communication along with student and host family placement.
