Our Consumer Personalization team is hiring a Software Engineer Intern! On this journey, you'll partner with the team transforming the consumer experience to create more dynamic and delightful experiences for users and to increase conversion. Potential project opportunities include merchandising, customer segmentation, marketing communications, saved listings and saved search, as well as login and account registration.

This is a full-time, paid, Summer 2024 Software Engineering Intern position. Must be eligible to work 40 hours a week from June 5, 2024 August 16, 2024. We are a hybrid environment and employees should anticipate working from our Cambridge, MA offices 40% of the time, or approximately 2 days per week.

• Work with JavaScript, React, and other technologies to build applications, tooling, or microservices at
• CarGurus
• Work on a multi-functional team with data analysts, product managers, and other engineers
• Participate in whiteboard sessions and design conversations on engineering the best solution to the
• challenges at hand
• Test out new insights with novel and quick experiments
• Write clean, well-tested, and efficient code
• Collaborate with and enjoy mentorship by highly skilled engineers

• You are familiar with and have a foundational understanding of JavaScript, algorithms, and data
• structures
• You are eager to learn and expand your capabilities
• You are drawn to and thrive in a fast-paced environment that pushes code daily
• You are able to work independently, as well as in a team environment
• Bonus: Familiarity with React
