The Role:
As an Engineering QA Tester at Sway, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functionality and reliability of our innovative technology platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop and execute comprehensive test plans, conduct thorough testing, and identify and track issues throughout the testing lifecycle. Your attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to quality will contribute to the delivery of high-performance software applications.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for software applications and systems.
- Conduct thorough testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing, to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and issues through the testing lifecycle.
- Work closely with developers to understand the codebase, resolve issues, and ensure optimal product functionality.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Requirements
We’re excited about you because you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role in software development.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and scripting languages.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
