They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join their finance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's tax functions, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and optimizing tax strategies to minimize liabilities. Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns in a timely manner
- Ensure tax compliance by maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Monitor and analyze changes in tax laws and regulations
- Identify tax planning opportunities to minimize liabilities and maximize savings
- Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in tax accounting
- Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Experience with tax planning and optimization strategies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
