Job Description

The Senior Vice President of Product Management utilizes advanced clinical expertise to drive effective communication and vision for product development beyond current system capabilities. The role involves ensuring alignment of new features with company mission, best practices, and evolving clinical trends, while providing leadership and supervision, developing direct reports, and maintaining high divisional performance standards. The VP of Product management leads clinical product development, guides pricing strategies, ensures brand and consumer needs alignment, conducts thorough analysis for potential products, and plays a pivotal role in national, regional, and local events to position the company as a technology leader. Additionally, the role investigates and resolves critical matters, provides consultation, and drives pre and post-implementation assessments, consistently aiming for efficient and effective outcomes.

**Please note this role is a hybrid position that requires you to be in the San Diego, CA office three days a week**

Requirements

  • Utilize advanced clinical knowledge and experience to communicate effectively with the Product Design Manager, Principal Architects, and CEO;
  • Provide vision for product development beyond the existing capabilities of the system;
  • Ensure that the development of new features is in alignment with the company mission and goals and existing best practices as well as trending clinical practice;
  • Provide leadership and supervision to division, develop and mentor direct reports, manage performance;
  • Provide clinical leadership within the company;
  • Establish and review division performance data;
  • Formulate and implement division operating practices;
  • Develop and maintain effective communications both internally and externally;
  • Ensure customer needs are met or exceeded;
  • Document processes and provide feedback to improve implementation;
  • Perform pre and post implementation assessment and follow-up driving positive results;
  • Prepare and/or analyze reports to measure productivity;
  • Assist in product demonstrations;
  • Participate in national, regional and local events that position CCI to be recognized as a leader in the use of information technology, including tradeshows and user group meetings;
  • Investigate and resolve matters of significance;
  • Provide consultation and advice to business partners and the chain-of-command;
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned;
  • Lead product development and production teams from initial inception to final product;
  • Guide product placement and pricing strategies;
  • Ensure that products meet the brand standards as well as consumer needs;
  • Conduct technical, competitive, and trend analysis to identify and evaluate potential products.

Qualifications:

  • PhD - RN, MD or Master's Degree in a Related field;
  • 5+ years in Health system leadership;
  • 5+ years’ experience with electronic medical records;
  • 10+ years Clinical experience at an inpatient healthcare facility.

Benefits

The base salary range for this full-time position is $283.000 - $320,000.
