Mission

As a Project Executive with SCM you will be responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a portfolio of multiple construction projects. This role will also lead, mentor, and manage a team of Project Managers, Superintendents, and Project and Field Engineers. If you are technical, a strong communicator, and want to work in a supportive team environment, you will excel in this position with SCM.

Requirements

Key Results:

  1. Accountable to a portfolio of projects and successful completion of those projects at, or below, contracted completion budgets and schedules contributing to our 10% EBITDA goal.
  2. Responsible for team execution of SCM project safety and quality performance metrics.
  3. As an executive, maintain and promote SCM’s NPS goal of 52 with all stakeholders.

Main Objectives amp; Responsibilities:

  • · Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors to enhance future business development opportunities.
  • · Develop high-performance teams through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring. Manage team development through strategic goals, metrics, and growth plans.
  • · Ensure strict adherence to SCM values and compliance requirements on all projects.
  • · Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee and pricing decisions.
  • · Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously from preconstruction through closeout.
  • · Oversee the development of the master project schedule and manage its implementation.
  • · Provide oversight for budget and financial management for all projects.
  • · Innovate, Support, and drive utilization of SCM SOPs, initiatives, and technologies.
  • · Oversee the administration of SCM’s Quality Assurance/Quality Control and safety programs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year university or college, preferably with a major in construction management, engineering, or business.

10+ years of experience in commercial construction projects with a track record of Project Management and Sr. Management with project values averaging $20mm or higher.

Project experience and proven execution that includes base building construction types where design included MEP, Life Safety, Elevator, and circulation elements.

Experience managing and leading a project team of Project Manager, Superintendents, and Engineers.

Proficient with Procore and industry standard project tools like MS Project, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet.

Ability to travel a minimum of 25% nationally to support projects and business development efforts.
