Role Summary:

In this role, you’ll be tasked with performing essential duties of Iontra’s purchasing functions across all geographies. You will be responsible for setting up a framework for purchasing function to handle the company growth. Responsibilities include setting up AVL (Approved Vendors List), detailed analysis of all spend categories, identify cost reduction opportunities, create a process/criteria for all the users on getting multiple bids where applicable and finally negotiating with vendors on pricing, payment terms. The role requires a process in place for developing should cost for significant spend categories, negotiation plan approval before and after negotiations. Responsibilities include identifying/developing new vendors as applicable. You will be required to drive alignment on mutual expectations amp; requirements from both Iontra and the select few vendors by setting up effective communication channels at regular cadence with a clear path for escalation as needed. You will be responsible to build relationships at the executive management level of the select strategic vendors.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Vendor sourcing amp; selection
  • Develop amp; implement a process for purchasing function affecting all employees
  • Deep dive analysis of overall spends and identify cost reduction opportunities
  • Manage delivery to meet the stakeholder requirements
  • Benchmarking of the ecosystem driving standard of excellence
  • Effective supplier management
  • Collaborate with Finance amp; Accounting for a streamlined payment process

Requirements

You’ll Need These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or engineering
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing suppliers
  • Proven results in price negotiations, capacity management, driving 1st time quality and technology roadmap alignment with vendors

Desired Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Experience in developing/implementing purchasing process amp; associated software
  • Knowledge of managing multiple geographies
  • Qualified in deploying purchasing software as part of ERP
  • Well-versed in setting up purchasing system/process

Salary Range: $120k-$140k (salary is based on education, experience, skillset, and market value).
