The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of bookkeeping practices, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of financial integrity.
- Ensure all financial records and statements are in like with laws, regulations, and generally accepted (GAAP) accounting principles.
- Resolve any discrepancies or irregularities found in records, statements, or documented transactions.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information (Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions).
- Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting and analysis of financial information to Executives and offer suggestions about resource utilization, strategies and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
- Follow business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Bookkeeping accounting for all aspects of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Billing for respective assigned corporate entity.
- Daily bank reconciliation.
- Assist with generation of 1099's along with other year-end function(s).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 3+ Years' experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience in working with multiple entities under one corporate umbrella is preferred.
- QuickBooks experience required.
- QuickBooks certification preferred.
